Man partially dismembered at Woolmarket laundromat is 4th Coast killing this week
A Biloxi man is being held on $2 million bond after what officials say was a gruesome murder Tuesday at a Woolmarket mobile home park.
Clint Barrett Brower, 41, was arrested Tuesday by Biloxi police on a warrant of first degree murder. Bond was set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said Micah Harrington, 41, was found at 5:28 p.m. lying along a road in the Mazalea Travel Park at 8220 West Oaklawn Road, just south of the Woolmarket exit on Interstate 10.
“The assault took place in the laundromat,” Switzer said, at the RV park where Harrington and Brower both lived.
“He was stabbed several times and actually partially dismembered as well,” Switzer said.
Harrington was pronounced dead at the scene, and Switzer said an autopsy will be performed this week in Jackson.
Since Sunday, four people in South Mississippi have died during altercations, police reported. The other homicides this week are:
▪ On Monday a road rage incident that went on for almost 20 miles on I-10 through Jackson County ended with the death of Brandon Box, 30, of Gulfport. Police are still looking for the shooter.
▪ Also on Monday, Tremaine Brown, 30, of Gulfport, died from a gunshot wound. Gulfport Police on Wednesday arrested Aaron Mays and Gitano Lewis. Mays was charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault and Lewis was charged with aggravated assault and accessory after the fact.
▪ On Sunday Michael Lepoma, 51, of D’Iberville, was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery after being struck by a metal object during a fight. He died Monday and Biloxi Police arrested Matthew Cole Reid on a charge of second degree murder.
