Lucky gambler hits two video poker jackpots in one night at South Mississippi casino
A jackpot winner saw double last weekend at Hard Rock Casino Biloxi when she scored two wins just a few minutes apart on video poker.
“It was an exciting weekend at Hard Rock Biloxi, with big wins all around,” the Hard Rock Biloxi posted Monday on the casino’s Facebook site.
The post said three big slot machine wins of $10,000 or more made for a lively casino over the weekend. They included: $10,262 on Magic Treasures, $15,039 on Blazing Triple Double Jackpot Wild and $25,230 on Dragon Cash.
“One lucky guest stole the show with not just one, but two wins on Triple Triple Bonus Poker — a whopping $100,000 and $50,000,” the casino post said.
It happened on Friday, March 21, when a woman from Georgia was playing Game King poker machine. She was playing a $25 Triple Triple Bonus Poker game and was betting $125 per spin. Her $100,000 jackpot came on four deuces with an Ace.

That win came at 7:53 p.m. on Friday.
Just 14 minutes later, she did it again, winning $50,000 this time. She again scored on a Game King poker machine, betting $125 per spin on a $25 Triple Triple Bonus Poker game.
This time she hit with four 3’s with a non-Ace kicker.
This double video poker jackpot win is the second video jackpot this month at Hard Rock Biloxi. On March 6, a player from Kentucky hit a $100,000 jackpot when the Game King video poker game he was playing dealt a royal flush — in spades. The man was betting $125 per spin on the $25 Triple Double Bonus Poker game. He played for about 13 minutes when he hit a lucky royal flush in spades.
The tally of jackpots totaling $100,000 or more stands at $1.1 million so far this year. In addition to the weekend’s $150,000 hit, the other jackpots are:
$300,000 — Won Feb. 15 by a player from Birmingham, Alabama, at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi on a 2-credit bet. It was a 2-credit bet on the same $100 denomination Triple Double Stars slot machine that hit a jackpot on Feb. 12.
$270,000 — Won Jan. 22 at Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi during a rare snowstorm. A South Carolina player was playing a $100 Triple Double Stars slot machine and won on a $200 bet.
$150,000 — Won Feb. 12 by a player from Gulfport at Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi playing a $100 denomination Triple Double Stars machine with a 1-credit bet.
$142,550.75 — Won March 7 by Shawn (no last name provided), of Mobile, Ala, at Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi while playing the Lightning Buffalo Link slot machine.
$100,000 — Won March 6 by an unidentified player from Kentucky at Hard Rock Casino Biloxi. He was playing a Game King video poker machine, betting $125 per spin on the $25 Triple Double Bonus Poker game. He hit a lucky royal flush in spades.
In 2024, the jackpots started hitting in March. The 17 jackpots over $100,000 totaled $5.95 million by the end of the year.
