Snow jackpot hits at Biloxi casino, first of the year and in the middle of the storm

Snow brought luck to a visitor at a Coast casino who won the first jackpot of 2025 during a rare snowstorm in Biloxi.

The winner from South Carolina, who declined to be identified, was playing at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi at 2 p.m. Tuesday, during the height of the snowstorm. The person was playing a $100 Triple Double Stars slot machine and placed a $200 bet.

The jackpot was for $270,000.

The person played six games before the jackpot hit, according to the casino.

This isn’t the first time luck has hit during a storm at the Beau Rivage.

In October, Jason Jensen fled the storm in Florida and took shelter at the Beau Rivage. Better known as “Greatness Reinvented,” with 858k subscribers on YouTube, Jensen hit the jackpot on a high limit Dragon Link slot at around 7 a.m. and won $146,250.

In 2024, Coast casinos paid out $6 million in 18 jackpots of $100,000 or more, with the first hitting in March. Two of the jackpots topped $1 million.
