Police identify man killed in home invasion during a Super Bowl party in Moss Point
Police have identified the 50-year-old man fatally shot in a home invasion during a Super Bowl party on Sunday night.
He was Fabian Dwight Dailey, Deputy Police Chief Brandon Ashley said Tuesday.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is among the agencies assisting in the investigation.
Police have said two others were wounded by gunfire during armed robberies of people attending the party.
At least five or six armed males reportedly went in the home on Bellview Street, which is across from Moss Point High School.
Police were called to the home about 11:44 p.m. Sunday.
Moss Point Mayor Mario King called for a press conference Tuesday to discuss the city’s fatal shootings since Jan. 12.
Police have said victims in the home invasion are not cooperating.
