Gulfport investigating cause of early-morning house fire

Fire Battalion Chief Chris Henderson said investigators are still trying to determine what caused an early-morning house fire in Gulfport.

Henderson said fire personnel responded in the 1200 block of Hardy Avenue at 1 a.m.

He said a large, two-story home was on fire. No one was in the home at the time.
