Coroner releases cause of death of man found in Wal-Mart parking lot

A man found dead in a Wal-Mart parking lot Saturday night died of natural causes, Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said.

The man’s family had asked police to check on him because they believed he was ill, according to Police Chief Tim Hendricks. Police found the man deceased in a tractor-trailer.

Hargrove declined to release the man’s name, age and hometown Sunday because the death was natural.
