It was a banner year for boys basketball in South Mississippi, and now is your chance to help solidify one athlete’s mark on the historic season.
The Fan’s Choice Player of the Year poll for the 2025-26 campaign is open with candidates coming from Bay High, Biloxi, Christian Collegiate, Gulfport, Pass Christian, Pascagoula, Picayune, Resurrection, St. Martin, St. Stanislaus, Stone and West Harrison.
The fan vote winner of the poll will be recognized with the rest of the Sun Herald All-South Mississippi Team when published.

This year’s nominees
Anthony Robinson, Bay High: Robinson was among the Coast’s top scorers with 19.9 points scored per game for the Tigers.
Carnellous Lenard, Biloxi: Lenard paced the Indians with 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals a game. He hit 50 three-pointers during the year.
Tahj Hill, Christian Collegiate: Hill was the Coast’s scoring champ, averaging 21.5 points a night with 8.5 rebounds added.
Morris Robertson, Gulfport: Robertson led the Admirals with 16.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals a game. He knocked down 46 shots from beyond the arc.
Blake Nettles, Pascagoula: Nettles earned Mr. 6A honors and is continuing his career at Jackson State after leading the Panthers to their first state title. He averaged 18.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.6 steals a game.
Landon Hall, Pass Christian: Mr. 4A and Pearl River C.C. commit, Hall averaged 18 points per game and nine rebounds.
Jeremiah Mark, Picayune: Mark nearly averaged a double-double, scoring 13.5 points and grabbing 9.9 rebounds per game.
Keyshawn Nesbitt, Resurrection: Nesbitt was key in Resurrection’s South State title run, averaging 15.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 4.4 steals a game.
RJ Keys, St. Martin: Keys scored 16.3 points with 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Yellow Jackets.
Jabari Moye, Stone: Moye led the Tomcats with 19.8 points scored per game, along with 4.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and three steals.
Max Baria, St. Stanislaus: Baria was a dominant frontcourt presence for the 3A champs, averaging a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds plus 3.5 blocks per game.
Logan Robinson, West Harrison: Robinson hit 53 three-pointers in a season where he averaged 14.1 points, five rebounds and 2.8 steals a game.
