A Gulfport man died in a shooting early Monday morning, authorities confirmed, and his killing was Harrison County’s sixth homicide in seven days.
Police received a call about the shooting at 1:20 a.m. about shots fired outside Beauvoir Manor Apartments, Biloxi Police Maj. Christopher De Back said.

Williams died of a single gunshot wound, Switzer said, but an autopsy is pending to confirm the cause of death.
