Live where you shop? Fleurty Girl opening boutique, ‘she-shed’ downtown Bay St. Louis

She started her brand with $2,000 in the bank and on online shop. Now with multiple stories in and around the New Orleans metro, Lauren Leblanc Haydel is expanding her popular Fleurty Girl boutique to Old Town Bay St. Louis.

But the space Haydel has on Main Street will have more than just a clothing store.

Haydel’s company announced on Facebook that Fleurty Girl in the Bay will also have two apartment units for rent and a she-shed space for “creators” to use as they need.

A courtyard is also planned and will be opened for special events like downtown’s Second Saturdays.

Artist’s renderings of the retail shop show gray walls with pops of bright green.

You can also take a 3D tour of the renderings.

Fleurty Girl hopes to open their Bay shop in fall 2020, according to its Facebook page.
