Who is the Coast’s cutest cat? Final round voting is open for 5 good boys, girls

It all comes down to this. A contest that began with 52 very good boys and girls is down to just 5 final contenders to be crowned the Sun Herald’s Cutest Cat of 2026.

The winner will follow 2024 winners Caesar and Bebe, and 2025 champion Salem, as the cutest on the Mississippi Coast. Finn, Jackie and Bruce led the voting in Round 1, with Ace and Van Meowison making up a group of five that quickly ran away from the pack. Round 2 is anyone’s to win, though, as voting is open now and will conclude at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 20.
