Proof of Poplarville’s pride for country music trio Chapel Hart isn’t hard to find. The pride especially shined through when the City of Poplarville and Pearl River County declared this week as Chapel Hart Week.

“We are beyond honored,” posted Chapel Hart on Twitter.

Made up of sisters Devynn and Danica Hart and cousin Trea Swindle, the group has strong roots in their hometown and the Hart’s Chapel community where they were raised.

The America’s Got Talent finalists celebrated their special week with daily Facebook posts.

Since performing an original song on AGT, the group has been flooded with recognition and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

One of those opportunities will occur during tonight’s AGT finale when the Chapel Hart sings with country singer Darius Rucker. The musician became a fan of Chapel Hart after hearing their rendition of “Delta Dawn,” said Danica Hart in an interview with TMZ.

Chapel Hart will appear on Rucker’s next album.

“He really took a chance on us,” said Devynn Hart. “He saw some of our stuff online and he’s like, ‘I love what you ladies are doing. I have an idea and I want to hear you guys on this song.’”

Win or lose, the AGT finale will not be Chapel Hart’s final performance. They’ve already heard from record labels anxious to sign them.

“We’ve had a couple people to reach out,” Danica said.

The band’s next country music milestone will be Sept. 17 when they debut at the Grand Ole’ Opry. You can find $45 tickets to the Grand Ole’ Opry through WRJW. Follow the link by clicking on the picture of Chapel Hart, then use code WRJW45.

Sharing the stage with several acts means Chapel Hart will have to limit their set list. Danica said they decided to plan an afterparty to make up for the short performance and spend quality time with their fans.

“So while you may not get a chance to hang out and talk with us for 30 minutes, you’ll definitely get a chance to get a hug and pictures,” she said.

The meet-and-greet after party will be held at the Nashville Palace after the Opry performance.
