These celebrities are rooting for Mississippi’s Chapel Hart to win ‘America’s Got Talent’
South Mississippi is in full support of Poplarville country trio Chapel Hart, and so are a slew of celebrities who are well-known in county music.
Dolly Parton made headlines when she tweeted in support of Chapel Hart’s single, “You Can Have Him Jolene,” a modern-day response to her country classic “Jolene.” Loretta Lynn also chimed in with support.
Here’s a look at other big-name people and Mississippi officials who are rooting for the group to win $1 million in the “America’s Got Talent” grand finale:
- John Rich from Big & Rich
- Darius Rucker, who is performing with Chapel Hart on the ‘AGT’ finale
- Jason Mraz (“We thought it was spam,” said Chapel Hart’s Trea Swindle in a YouTube video posted by the group.)

- Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith
