One man is dead after reports of gunfire in a Pascagoula apartment complex overnight, police say.

Pascagoula Police Capt. Doug Adams said officers received several calls of shots fired at Regency Woods Apartments just before midnight.

One man was shot and killed, he said. Joston Wasington, 23, of Gautier died of a single gunshot wound.

The homicide is under investigation, and anyone with information should contact Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211.
