Missing OLA student found safe, but father arrested, police chief says
An Our Lady Academy student who was missing for more than two weeks has been found safe, Long Beach police officials say.
Courtlee Hilton, 16, disappeared from a friend’s house in Long Beach on Oct. 1.
She had not contacted any family or friends since she was last seen, said Melanie Bradford, Courtlee’s mother.
Courtlee was found Monday at a home on Shenandoah Drive in Pass Christian with Shawn J. Hilton, her father, said Long Beach Police Chief William Seal in a press release.
Seal said Shawn Hilton does not have custody of Courtlee.
Shawn Hilton was arrested by Harrison County deputies on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Courtlee Hilton was released to Mississippi Child Protective Services.
