Bicyclist identified in fatal hit-and-run

Sheriff Mike Ezell said a Vancleave man is behind bars after a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run in St. Martin.

Dylan Anthony Bullock, 23, was arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of a fatality, Ezell said.

The bicyclist, Jason Michael Salisbury, 26, died at the scene, Ezell said.

Ezell said Salisbury was riding down Tucker Road near Pine Ridge Road about 12:45 a.m. Saturday when Bullock hit him.

Capt. Chris Stratton said witnesses told investigators Bullock was driving a Ford F-150.

Officials found him on Deneen Road standing outside the disabled truck, Stratton said.

Ezell said Bullock could face more charges when the results of a blood test come in.
