Garden Park Medical Center is Top Performer for 5 years

For the fifth consecutive year, Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport is recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for 2014.

GPMC is one of 1,224 hospitals surveyed and is being recognized for treatment of heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care and perinatal care.

This achievement recognizes the hospital's commitment to assuring that evidence-based interventions delivered in the right way and at the right time.

The Joint Commission launched program to encourage hospitals to consistently improve their performance on accountability measures by publicly recognizing those that ultimately achieve excellence in this arena. The ultimate goal is to improve the care provided to patients.

Garden Park is an affiliate of HCA Inc., which operates 165 hospitals and 115 outpatient centers in 20 states and England, and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
