On Sunday, Cruisin’ The Coast rolls into its 21st year of hosting America’s Largest Block Party

Cruisin’ The Coast rolls into its 21st year of being America’s Largest Block Party when it green lights in South Mississippi on Sunday.

Expect to see more and more classic, antique, hot rods, street rods and cream puffs roll in from points throughout the nation and from around the world as the event revs up throughout the week until it crosses the checkered flag Oct. 8.

Cruisers come each year to get in on the fun that only Cruisin’ The Coast can bring with a full eight days of Cruisin’ along Beach Boulevard’s unfettered views of the Mississippi Sound from Bay St. Louis to Pascagoula and all points in between.

And, there is no shortage of entertainment to keep the Cruisers and the gawkers, who also come from all around, to have a good time when they aren’t on the roads.

New this year:

▪ Pascagoula is an official Cruisin’ venue for three days — Thursday through Saturday.

▪ Burn ’Em Up in the Pass where registered Cruisers can burn-out on Thursday night of Cruisin’ in Pass Christian.

▪ Salute to Our Veterans is back on Tuesday at Cruise Central in Gulfport.

▪ Cruisin’ the Decades is a new opening-day event in Gautier.
