St. Stanislaus quarterback Myles Brennan turned plenty of heads last season during his record-setting sophomore campaign.
The Rockachaw gun-slinger has continued to garner attention in 2015 and on Friday he was named to MaxPreps.com's National Player of the Year watch list.
Through seven weeks, Brennan has completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,216 yards and 18 touchdowns with six interceptions. He has also rushed for 178 yards and three scores.

It's worth noting Brennan is the only player from the Southeast listed on MaxPreps' watch list.
As a sophomore, Brennan completed 70 percent of his passes for 5,797 yards and 64 touchdowns. He also rushed for another 189 yards and six scores while leading St. Stanislaus to the Class 4A state championship game.
Colleges have noticed the reigning Sun Herald Player of the Year. The junior currently holds offers from Troy, South Alabama, Cincinnati, Kentucky and Cal.
