Who was the MS Coast’s best girls soccer player during the 25-26 season? Vote now

Seven South Mississippi soccer clubs represented the Coast in Jackson this season.

Three of them reached the Capital from the girls bracket and one returned with a trophy. The St. Patrick Lady Irish claimed another Class I title along with the school’s boys team while Long Beach and East Central won girls South State championships.

Here is the chance for fans to make their choice for the Sun Herald girls Player of the Year for the 2025-26 season. The fans’ choice winner for Player of the Year will be recognized along with the rest of the All-South Mississippi Team.

Nominations for the All-South team can still be made by email the athlete’s name, school, stats and info to sports@sunherald.com.

Everyone can vote and subscribers can vote at sunherald.com as many times as you like. Voting ends at midnight on April 1. Do not vote via email as your vote will not be counted.

This year’s nominees

Kamryn Lafontaine, Bay High: The sophomore missed five games and was still among the top scorers in the state, finding the net 48 times and assisting on 16 more goals.

Lucy Myrick, East Central: Myrick was one of the Coast’s leading goal scorers as a freshman with 31 goals and 17 assists.

Ella Wert, Gulfport: Wert scored 17 goals for the Lady Admirals with six assists added.

Juri Meagher, Hancock: Meagher is a Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. commit who led the Hawks with 14 goals and seven assists.

Kaydence Cook, Long Beach: Cook scored 22 goals with eight assists and was named the Offensive Player of the Game at the Coast All Star game.

Adalyn Snell, Pass Christian: The junior led the Pirates with 23 goals scored and assisted on 13 more goals.

Taylor Hartzler, St. Martin: Hartzler is a senior captain who scored 27 times and contributed 10 assists for the Lady Jackets.

Bella Jordan, St. Patrick: Jordan helped lead the Lady Irish to another title behind 37 goals and nine assists. She is a Holmes C.C. commit.
