This week’s football players are nominated from D’Iberville, George County, Hancock, Pass Christian, Picayune, St. Stanislaus and West Harrison.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Friday, Sept. 13, at sunherald.com.

- Andre Crosby, D’Iberville: Crosby rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown in a 33-12 win over Gautier.
- Deuce Knight, George County: Knight threw for 317 yards and delivered five touchdown passes in the Rebels’ 51-36 win over Greene County.
- Aidan Taylor, Hancock: Taylor had four tackles for loss, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a safety in the 16-6 win over Moss Point.
- Jacquez Alexander-Dedeaux, Pass Christian: Alexander-Dedeaux scored five rushing touchdowns as part of a 122-yard night during a 48-9 win over Purvis.
- Darrell Smith, Picayune: Smith rumbled for 220 yards and two touchdowns in the 35-0 win over Northshore (La.).
- Andrew Whitney, St. Stanislaus: Whitney had 10 tackles, five tackles for loss and a forced fumble in the 27-0 win over Bay High.
- Jordan Stapleton, West Harrison: Stapleton ran for 197 yards and two touchdowns in the Hurricanes’ 35-18 win over Sumrall.
