Who was the Coast’s best high school volleyball player during the 2023 season? Vote now.

It is time to use your voice and vote for this year’s Sun Herald fan vote volleyball player of the year.

It was another strong year on the Coast as South Mississippi was represented by three teams in the state championships.

Our Lady Academy took home its 16th state title while East Central and Hancock finished as state runner-ups.

The winner of the poll will be recognized in the All-South Mississippi Volleyball Team.

You can vote as many times as you like until the poll closes at noon on Friday, Nov. 10. The poll is not scientific, and you can vote again by simply refreshing the page.

  • Abigail Radicia, Biloxi: Radicia was versatile, leading the Indians with 222 kills, had 32 aces and 215 digs.

  • Morgan Mears, East Central: The senior had a busy season, committing to Pearl River Central and then leading ECHS to the finals with a 13-kill performance at South State.

  • Lynde Barnes, Gulfport: Barnes had 288 kills to lead the Admirals and recorded 50 blocks, as well.
  • Anslee James, Hancock: James hlped lead the Hawks to the 6A finals with 198 kills, 59 aces, 362 digs and 31 blocks.
  • Myah Favre, Our Lady Academy: Favre led the Crescents with 461 kills and picked up 126 digs and 81 blocks.
  • Anna Hoffmayer, Ocean Springs: Hoffmayer led the Greyhounds with 257 kills with a 50.1 kill percentage. Also had a team-high 41 blocks.
