Pass Christian lands title-winning football coach Jeff Stockstill
Pass Christian announced Monday the hiring of Jeff Stockstill as its newest head football coach.
Stockstill arrives on the Coast with championship pedigree after winning each of the last two Mississippi 2A state titles.
“We’re excited to have him here, he’s a winner,” Pass Christian athletic director Ricky Smith told the Sun Herald. “That’s one of the things we were looking for in a football coach, and not just on the field. He holds those kids accountable in the classroom and in the community.”
He replaces Chase Carmody, who stepped down and took the defensive coordinator role at Ocean Springs.
Stockstill spent the last two seasons at Scott Central, where he led the Rebels to a 28-2 mark, including an 8-0 district record and 10-0 playoff record.
The Pirates are coming off a 5-5 season with a one-and-done trip to the postseason. Stockstill will be the fifth Pass Christian coach since 2017.
