It’s time to vote for Sun Herald’s MS Coast Athlete of the Week for September 12
Now is your chance to vote on which star will be named the athlete of the week following the third week of high school football on the Coast.
We have stars from Hancock, St. Martin, Ocean Springs, The Bay, Pass Christian, Vancleave and East Central.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon on Friday, September 16, at www.sunherald.com.

- Xander Ladner, Bay High: Ladner threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns in The Bay’s 42-21 win over Long Beach.
Zachary Gullung, Hancock: Gallung led Hancock with 186 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the 44-22 win over Greene County.
Will Smith, Ocean Springs: Smith rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns in the 36-0 win over George County.
Jacquez Alexander, Pass Christian: Alexander rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns in the 21-14 win over Purvis.
DK Jenkins, St. Martin: Jenkins threw for 110 yards and three touchdowns while adding 108 rushing yards and a 73-yard rushing touchdown.
John Peterson, Vancleave: Peterson ran for 287 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries in a 35-26 win over Moss Point.
