East Central finds new football coach from within
East Central has hired its newest football coach.
Assistant coach Sam Huff will take over as the head Hornet in Hurley.
Huff replaces Eric Collins, who left to take the coaching job at Pearl River in Louisiana. Collins went 15-9 with two playoff trips in two years at East Central.
Huff has coached at East Central in a variety of roles for the last 15 years.
East Central becomes the next South Mississippi school to find its newest head football coach on its own staff. St. Martin, Harrison Central and D’Iberville all hired from within this offseason.
