JJ Watt notices boy’s elaborate Lego version of Texans stadium and offers big surprise

The COVID-19 pandemic has sports fans simply twiddling their thumbs, longing for the day when they can either go out and cheer on their favorite teams in person, or just simply itching for the day when they can turn on their TV sets and cheer on from there.

But not one young boy in the United Kingdom.

He decided not to twiddle his thumbs and wait – he actually got busy in the most creative way imaginable and was delightfully rewarded for it, as reported by the KIAH in Houston.

A child named Archie built a Lego version of NRG Stadium, the home of his favorite team, the Houston Texans.

Even Texans mascot Toro got in on the fun and tagged the video of him making his own that he had posted on March 27.

Greg Plummer, the boy’s father, said Archie hoped “his favorite player @JJWatt likes it,” and luckily for him... he did!

Along with retweeting the original post featuring Archie posing next to his creation, defensive end J.J. Watt sent over a big surprise as well: an invite to the actual stadium once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
