Gulfport police officer to appear on a reality TV show. Here’s how you can watch
The Gulfport Police Department will be featured on the show “COPS,” for the second time, in an episode coming out on Friday.
The episode features Officer Steven Fore, the department said in a press release.
In the promotional video on YouTube, Fore talks to a driver sitting in his car during what appears to be a traffic stop.
“Have you ever had a license before?” he asks.
“No,” the man responds.
“Never?” Fore asks.
“I’ve had an ID though.”
The episode will be available on Fox Nation on Friday.
“Officer Fore comes from a law enforcement family and is a lifelong resident of Gulfport. Steven started with the Gulfport Police Department as a community service technician in October 2010 and became a sworn full-time officer in July 2012,” the department said in a press release. “Steven was promoted to sergeant in January 2021.”
Fore has been assigned to patrol, S.W.A.T Sniper, school resource officer, marine patrol and Homeless Intervention Team during his career.
Two Gulfport officers, Lt. Tony Alves and Patrol Officer Victor Moreno, were featured on the show in 2019.
“COPS,” a docuseries that premiered in 1989, is one of the longest-running television shows in the United States.
The Paramount Network canceled the show in June 2020 amid nationwide protests following the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.
Fox Nation picked it up in September 2021, and the 33rd season premiered on Oct. 1.
“Stay tuned after the COPS episode as Officer Fore has been invited to be a guest commentator for COPS: All Access,” the press release said.
