Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Don Bass said a Bay St. Louis man has been arrested for shooting at a vehicle.
Bass said Charles Keith Mueller, 32, was arrested Friday afternoon on a charge of attempted murder. He said Mueller fire two shots at a vehicle driven by a woman in the Lakeshore area. The shooting happened at 2:50 p.m.
“After the shots were fired, she followed Mueller’s vehicle and called 911,” Bass said. “We were able to arrest Mueller without incident.”
Mueller is the brother of Demetrius Mueller, who was shot and killed along with his girlfriend, Kristina Quintini, in Bay St. Louis in August 2016. An infant was also shot and wounded.
Myrick Laneaux, 27, was arrested on two counts of murder and the charges of aggravated assault and taking possession of a motor vehicle for the Bay St. Louis doble homicide.
Bass said there was no connection between the August double homicide and Friday’s shooting. He said Friday’s shooting was the result of a “domestic dispute.”
