One arrested in Pass Christian New Year’s Day shooting

Pass Christian police have made an arrest in a New Year’s Day shooting, officials said.

Christopher Charles Clark of Gulfport was arrested Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and residential burglary. All three are felony charges.

One person was shot in the chest about 6 a.m. Jan. 1 at a house in Lynn Circle and required surgery, Police Chief Tim Hendricks said

Clark was held on a $500,000 bond.
