The 2016 Biloxi Visitors Center Christmas ornament is now on sale.
This year’s ornament, the third in a series, features the historic lighthouse, Biloxi’s oldest landmark, and the new Visitors Center that was built after Hurricane Katrina and incorporates the style of landmarks that were lost in the 2005 storm.
“We often talk about the history and resilience of our community,” said Biloxi Historical Administrator Bill Raymond, “so it seems appropriate to present the new Christmas ornament on the 11th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. It is a symbol of Biloxi and the rebuilding of a stronger and better Visitors Center.”
The ornament sells for $17 plus tax at the Biloxi Visitors Center Gift Shop, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Limited numbers of the ornaments are available.
