Biloxi calls special meeting for first look at budget

Biloxi Council will hold a special meeting at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to begin discussions on the fiscal year 2016-17 budget.

Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich previously told the council he will have a spreadsheet ready with all the revenue and expenses clearly defined.

The council’s regular meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A third meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday to consider the nomination of Councilman Paul Tisdale as chief administrative officer will be canceled. Gilich said the details are still being worked out on his appointment.
