GULFPORT -- The Gulfport Police Department has moved Friday's fallen officer memorial ceremonies inside its press room due to the likelihood of rain.

The press room is on the first floor of the Robert J. Curry Public Safety Center on 15th Street. Limited space is available so the overflow will stand in the lobby, a police official said.

The program starts at 9 a.m. and is held in conjunction with National Police Week.
