Tenant sought for old skate park in Harrison County

BILOXI -- The Harrison County Board of Supervisors on Monday agreed to advertise for a new tenant for the old Skate Park on DeBuys Road in Gulfport.

The skate park was converted into a movie studio but that venture folded, leaving the building, which is owned by the county on land owned by the Biloxi School District, empty.

District 5 Supervisor Connie Rockco said she has received several inquiries about the park but those people would have to submit a formal proposal after a request for proposals is advertised by the county.
