The first weekend of the 24th installment of the Coast Coliseum's Crawfish Music Festival has been a bit on the cloudy side, but the crawfish are heaped in buckets and the music, midway and merriment are running nonstop.
The much-anticipated Crawfish Cook-Off on Sunday will see teams competing for more than $4,000 in cash prizes, there'll be kid stuff galore, and headliners North Mississippi Allstars and The Revivalists with Flow Tribe will top the day's entertainment lineup.
Frankie Ballard and Kelsea Ballerini will kick off next weekend's musical talent with concerts Friday night.
