BILOXI -- The National Weather Service in New Orleans issued a flood warning for two rivers in Harrison County that are expected to crest today.
The Wolf River is expected to crest at 8 feet, the same level as its flood stage, and the Biloxi River is expected to crest at 12 feet. Its flood stage is 21 feet.
"At this level, water could be out of the banks on these rivers in low-lying areas," Harrison County Emergency Management Director Rupert Lacy said.
"Remember to turn around in waters covering roadways," he warned drivers.
