Gulfport home damaged in Sunday fire

GULFPORT -- Firefighters battled a house fire about 20 minutes, sustaining heavy damage.
Gulfport firefighters responded to a call at 25th Street and Oak Avenue about 11 a.m., finding a home with heavy fire coming out of the roof.
Firefighters battled the blaze about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
No one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation. There were no injuries.
Gulfport Fire Departmentsent 18 firefighters to the scene.
