Coroner: No foul play in Biloxi woman's death
An autopsy shows no foul play or trauma in the death of a 21-year-old Biloxi woman whose remains were found in a vehicle in D'Iberville.
The death of Tiffany Rea McDavid, 21, remains under investigation, Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said.
A toxicology test is pending and will determine the manner of death, Hargrove said Wednesday.
McDavid had been missing about 2- 1/2 weeks when her body was found Saturday in a car parked in a secluded area off River Loop Drive in D'Iberville.
Biloxi police had reported she was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 6 and a missing-person report was filed Jan. 11. Detective Christopher De Back said D'Iberville police contacted investigators when they learned the car was registered to McDavid.
"The autopsy confirmed her identity," Hargrove said.
