Wreck blocks highway in D'Iberville

D'IBERVILLE -- Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle wreck Tuesday on Mississippi 67.

The accident occurred about 6 p.m., blocking both northbound lanes near Sangani Boulevard for about an hour.

A Toyota Camry and a Toyota Yaris were heavily damaged. Police are investigating whether a third vehicle was

involved, which fled the scene.

Officers at the scene said the wreck involved injuries but did not say to what extent.
