Four-vehicle wreck causes injuries on I-10 in Gulfport

GULFPORT - Firefighters responded to a four-vehicle wreck on Interstate 10 on Tuesday evening.

Battalion Chief Christopher Henderson said the accident occurred about 4:45 p.m. near the Lorraine-Cowan Road Exit as cars merging eastbound onto I-10 collided with other vehicles.

Firefighters treated five people on the scene.

There were no major injuries, though one patient was transported to an area hospital for further treatment, Henderson said.
