Cheyenne Gray a national pageant finalist

East Hancock Elementary second-grader Cheyenne Gray, daughter of Jennifer Von Antz and Matt Gray, was a finalist in the National American Miss Pageant, representing Mississippi.

She previously was named first runner-up in photogenic.

The National Pageant will be held in Anaheim, Calif., at Disneyland during Thanksgiving week. She will have the opportunity to win her share of over $500,000 in cash and prizes.

Gray's additional activities and awards include dance, tennis, horseback riding, horse show competitions and swimming. She is a member of SOAR, which is a positive academic and behavior club at the school.
