2 injured after train strikes car at downtown railroad crossing in South MS

Two people were injured Friday when a train struck a vehicle in downtown Biloxi.

According to Biloxi police, the train struck a Kia K4 that had three occupants at the railroad crossing at the intersection of Rodenberg and Irish Hill drives. The driver was uninjured and the two passengers suffered minor injuries.

The crossings have since reopened.
