Official identifies pedestrian struck and killed by Amtrak train in Biloxi
A man struck and killed by an Amtrak train on Wednesday has been identified as Gulfport resident Grassney Tucker, according to Harrison County Deputy Coroner Art DeBorger.
Tucker, 43, was walking on the railroad tracks in Biloxi when he was hit by a westbound Amtrak passenger train, according to Biloxi Police Lt. Matt Jalanavich.
The incident occurred on the tracks at the intersection of Irish Hill Drive and Rodenberg Avenue.
Biloxi police said the crash was reported at about 7:50 a.m.
