4 injured, water main broken after CTA bus crashes on MS Coast, authorities say
Four people were injured after a Coast Transit Authority bus collided with a car and hit a pole on Monday in Gulfport, authorities said.
Gulfport Fire Chief Billy Kelley said first responders arrived at about 12:10 p.m. at Klein and Dedeaux roads. The four people hurt in the crash were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The collision also broke a nearby water main, according to police.
It is unclear what caused the crash. A Mississippi Department of Transportation map showed minor backups at the intersection Monday afternoon.
