1 dead after 5-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Biloxi, authorities say
One person died early Wednesday after 5 vehicles collided on Interstate 10 in Biloxi, authorities said.
Officers were called to the crash at about 2 a.m. near the Woolmarket exit. Lt. Candace Young, a spokesperson for the Biloxi Police Department, said the crash shut down westbound I-10.
The extent of injuries was not immediately clear. The westbound lanes reopened by 6 a.m., according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
