A reality TV show is filming today through Friday on the MS Coast. Here’s who and where
The show is a real estate television classic: A family scores a cheap beach house that needs renovation, then transforms it into paradise.
Its camera crews are coming this week to the Mississippi Coast.
The Harrison County Board of Supervisors approved filming this month for the show, called “Beachfront Bargain Hunt Renovation.” It is scheduled to film Wednesday through Friday at the Pass Christian Beach.
What the crew is filming and where else they will go in the city is not yet clear. The next season of the show will premiere in late March on Magnolia Network, according to Diana Ren, a spokesperson for the network.
The long-running series centers on couples renovating vacation properties in cities from Florida to Texas.
It has already filmed several episodes on the Mississippi Coast. An earlier iteration of the show that aired on the HGTV network focused on a New Orleans couple searching for a beach home in 2017 in Bay St. Louis. Several episodes have also been filmed in Biloxi and Gulfport.
It is unclear when the latest episode on the Coast will air. Magnolia Network airs on cable, satellite television and several streaming services, including Hulu and YouTubeTV. The network is curated by Chip and Joanna Gaines, a celebrity real estate couple who starred in HGTV’s hit show, “Fixer Upper.”
