Police discover woman’s body in ditch, MS Coast authorities say. Here’s what we know
Authorities are investigating after police found a woman’s body Wednesday night in a Gulfport ditch, Sgt. Jason Ducre said.
The woman has not been identified, he said.
Police received a call at 12:21 a.m. Wednesday about a body found in a water-filled ditch at Madison Street and Mississippi Avenue, Ducre said.
Ducre said evidence does not indicate the death was suspicious or connected to a crime.
The Harrison County coroner did not immediately respond to a message Wednesday morning.
