Pedestrian killed in early morning accident on Highway 90 in Gulfport, police say
A pedestrian died Thursday morning after a accident on U.S. 90 in Gulfport, police said.
Gulfport Police said before 7 a.m. Thursday they were investigating the accident near Highway 90 and 20th Avenue.
The accident briefly closed all eastbound lanes on Highway 90 from 25th Avenue to 20th Avenue. Police said just after 7 a.m. that traffic had opened.
Gulfport Police Lt. Jason Ducre confirmed the fatality but said no other information was immediately available.
