One person dead after fatal Biloxi motorcycle crash, police say

A motorcyclist died Monday after a crash in Biloxi, police said.

Biloxi officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle in the area of Popp’s Ferry Road and Iron Horse Drive about 12:34 p.m., according to a news release.

Police said a motorcyclist was ejected after the driver collided with a 2016 Hyundai Elantra.

American Medical Response personnel were at the scene, the release said, and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. The release said the motorcyclist died shortly after.

No other injuries were reported. Charges have not been filed and police have not released the victim’s name.
