Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car on I-10 in Gulfport, coroner says
One person died early Sunday morning on Interstate 10 in Gulfport.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said the incident happened at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. It’s believed the person who died was a pedestrian, he said.
It happened in the eastbound lane of I-10 near exit 49, he said.
The name of the victim has not been released, Switzer said.
