Husband, father of 3 killed after being hit by car on I-10 in Biloxi, police say
A GoFundMe has been set up for the local family of a man who was hit by a car and killed on Interstate 10 on Monday.
Jonathan Harlan, a married father of three children, was hit in the eastbound lanes of I-10, just west of the Cedar Lake Road exit in Biloxi, said Biloxi police Capt. Milton Houseman.
Police, firefighters and American Medical Response ambulance crews responded to the scene at 2:15 a.m., he said, where Harlan was pronounced dead.
Houseman said the incident was a “tragic accident.”
Harlan leaves behind a wife, Danyelle. The couple has been married for 10 years. He also has three children: Xavier, Samantha and Jude.
“This is an unexpected and incredibly difficult time and any donations to help offset the cost of the loss of income while Danyelle is unable to work and to assist financially with the children would be greatly appreciated,” the donation page says.
A memorial service will be held for Harlan on Tuesday, May 17.
