Toddler dies after being run over by vehicle at Biloxi car wash, police say
A toddler has died after being run over by a vehicle backing up in the parking lot of a Biloxi car wash on Friday, Biloxi police said in a news release.
After officers arrived on the scene at Rich’s Carwash on Popps Ferry Road, the child was immediately taken to a local medical facility where the child later died from their injuries.
The incident was first reported to police at about 11:05 a.m. Friday.
Major Chris DeBack said the child was around 1 year old.
He also said there appears to be no suspicious activity involved, but police are investigating the cause.
